How do you determine what size from each brand will fit?

Our sizing software uses a variety of measurements and body information from your scan or online created MeID to compare against the fit specifications of each style and brand in our program. We can then rank a shopper’s best fitting clothes.

Why do my sizes vary?

Different brands use different sizing standards, which means shoppers can have 3 or 4 different sizes in their wardrobe. Our software calculates the best fit for each brand and each style within that brand. Here at Me-Ality, we think fit matters, not size.

Why do some people who use your fit services not receive recommendations?

Me-Ality is able to match approximately 95% of the population with apparel that will fit. However, there are a small number of people with a body shape that is difficult for the system to measure. These people have very little definition between their waist, hip, and bottom measurements, and can be any height or weight.

What is a MeID?

A MeID is the user's individual profile, which contains key body data and basic identification (first and last name, email address, etc.). We use this MeID information and apply advanced algorithms to determine the clothing and sizes that offer the best fit for the user.

How long is a MeID good for?

As long as your body shape stays the same, your MeID profile remains accurate. However, if your body size changes for any reason (weight gain/loss, toning, pregnancy), we recommend that users update their information by visiting a Size-Matching Station or using our MeIDsa online service.

Will going through the scanner have a harmful effect on my pacemaker?

Your safety and peace of mind is our priority, and therefore, we suggest checking with your doctor if you have any concerns prior to scanning. Our scanning technology - called "millimeter wave" - is believed to be safe for individuals with medical implants. According to the TSA's website, this type of advanced imaging technology is safe and meets national health and safety standards. For comparison, the energy projected by millimeter wave technology is thousands of times less than a cell phone transmission. (See

Are there any physical limitations that would prevent me from using your service?

Me-Ality's fit solutions can accommodate the body characteristics of 95% of the population. However, there are some limitations that prevent us from servicing some individuals:

Due to overall body structures related to age, Me-Ality requires users to be 13 years of age or older.

Due to the interior dimensions of our current generation body scanner, our service is limited to individuals between 4'9" and 6'6". We are actively developing our next-generation scan technology, which will remedy situations like height.

Body Positioning
To successfully create a MeID profile using the Size-Matching Station, users are required to be in a standing position while holding straight posture. However, this is not a requirement for the MeIDsa online service, which utilizes 4 self-recorded body measurements.
